Newswise — The Princeton Review named the University of Virginia Darden School of Business among the top MBA programs in a number of key categories, including the No. 1 ranking for best professors and the best MBA for consulting.

No. 1 — Best Professors

No. 3 — Best MBA for Management
No. 3 — Greatest Resources for Women
No. 5 — Best Campus Environment
No. 6 — Best Career Prospects
No. 7 — Best MBA for Finance
No. 8 — Best Classroom Experience
No. 9 — Most Competitive Students

The Princeton Review’s rankings are based on student survey data and information provided by Schools. The data incorporates factors such as career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor, among other topics.

In a separate ranking of entrepreneurship administered by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine, the Darden School remains the No. 7 graduate business school for entrepreneurship for the second year in a row. The ranking considers a school’s entrepreneurship offering and alumni outcomes. Funding for ventures started by Darden alumni has increased dramatically in recent years.

The high number of Top 10 rankings from The Princeton Review places Darden among the top business schools. This result comes on the heels of Darden’s strong showing in rankings from Bloomberg Businessweek, which ranked the School the No. 9 MBA program in the United States, and The Economist, which ranked Darden the No. 9 MBA program in the world and the world’s No. 1 education experience for the eighth consecutive year.

“We’re pleased to see Darden receive strong marks in categories that are key to the School’s identity and mission, notably the affirmation of our top professors, the power of our education experience to develop leaders for careers across a spectrum of key industries and our commitment to a student experience nonpareil,” said Darden Dean Scott Beardsley. “The Darden School remains unsurpassed in its ability to prepare future leaders for meaningful, purpose-driven careers.”
