The San Francisco based nonprofit organization funds innovative research to cure glaucoma and restore vision.

Research scientists interested in applying for a grant should visit the website's Applying for a Grant page to review the grant process and submit an application. GRF encourages innovative ideas that will bring the scientific community closer to an in-depth understanding of glaucoma and its potential cures. In addition to funding innovative research investigators at prestigious institutions across the United States, in recent years GRF has funded research in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Israel, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
