Newswise — In an effort to deliver an in-person meeting to its members, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) is moving its meeting to Orlando, Fla., August 21-25, 2021.

“The change in location and date of the meeting was not undertaken lightly,” said AANS President John A. Wilson, MD, FAANS. “The change will help assure our ability to safely hold an in-person meeting that will provide scientific, educational and social interaction.”

“Location and dates are not the only change attendees will experience during the meeting,” according to Dr. Wilson, “The AANS has been working the past year to create a transformative meeting experience with a focus on new, interactive opportunities. This will be a family-friendly meeting, as Orlando is a top family vacation destination.”
