Andrew Careaga is the manager of public relations at the University of Missouri-Rolla and news and features editor of UMR's quarterly alumni magazine. A member of the UMR public relations staff since 1991, he previously worked as a newspaper reporter and communications coordinator for a regional planning commission.
Active in the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Careaga is past chair of CASE District VI and currently serves on CASE's Communications and Marketing Commission. A bivocational youth minister, Careaga also is the author of three books about the convergence of spirituality and the Internet and is currently writing a book about the theological implications of punk rock. His hobbies include running, chess, playing guitar, surfing the Internet and listening to the Ramones and the Clash.
