Newswise International Journalists Con't. |
International journalists make up 27% of Newswise subscribing journalists, and additional international reporters subscribe each week. Of the 1,061 subscribing international journalists, 794 (75%) are on staff at a publication and 267 (25%) are freelance. Together, these reporters write for more than 942 publications worldwide. To view a complete list of foreign publications with a staff member subscribing to Newswise click here. Seven hundred fifty-three of these journalists have requested and received a press pass to access embargoed news after fulfilling credential requirements.
One of the ways you can tell that Newswise is effective for you, is when you are contacted by an international journalist shortly after your news release is distributed via a Newswise wire. The top 3 countries with Newswise subscribing journalists are the UK with 259, Canada with 174 and Germany with 151. A complete listing of countries with Newswise subscribing journalists can be found to the right. We are currently working to subscribe new international journalists as well as adding new international participating institutions.
