Newswise — CHICAGO – The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) is honoring its members who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with an online tribute this Veterans Day.

“The AAE is proud and supportive of our members who have and are currently serving in our nation's armed forces,” AAE President Dr. Keith V. Krell said. “This online tribute is a simple yet meaningful way for the Association to thank our military endodontists who save natural teeth and lives on and off the battlefield.”

On Veterans Day, the Association will publish a special commemorative graphic on social media highlighting the group’s members who served and issues a call to action to the Association’s online followers to “thank a veteran” by tagging them and their dental practice in the comments section of the post.

In addition to spotlighting the Association’s military members, the AAE is increasing awareness about dental benefits available to qualifying veterans by directing people to www.va.gov and www.willyouseeonevet.org – an organization that partners with dentists and specialized dentists like endodontists that donate dental care services.
