Newswise — CHICAGO (Sept. 29, 2020) – The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) today announced the launch of a new audio and video podcast series providing consumers with critical information about the signs, symptoms and risk factors of retina disease and the importance of seeing a retina specialist for specialized care. “ASRS’s Retina Health for Life from the President’s Corner” features inspiring conversations about sight and the special role the retina plays in making healthy vision possible.

In each episode, Dr. Murray will interview expert retina specialists on the latest advances in retina care, as well as patients to discuss living life to the fullest with retina disease.

“Our sight is our most precious sense, allowing us to read, drive and see the faces of our loved ones which is why it’s so vital to safeguard retina health,” Dr. Murray said. “We’re excited to help the public understand how the retina works and what actions to take if they experience symptoms of retinal disease because getting specialized treatment early can save and improve sight.”
