Newswise — Babson College's Boston Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab® -- a venture accelerator specifically for women entrepreneurs -- will host its finale event for the 2018-2019 cohort on March 13, 2019, 6 pm, Babson Boston campus, 100 High Street, Boston.

The finale will involve a VIP reception, networking event, and a pitch competition where three of the WINners will pitch their businesses for a chance to win cash prizes: $5000 first place, $2500 second place $1000 third place.

Each entrepreneur will pitch their startup: three will compete for the prize with a five-minute pitch; the rest will present a two-minute pitch and partake in networking opportunities.

"We are thrilled with the growth seen by the entrepreneurs in our sixth Boston cohort," says Babson's Boston WIN Lab Director, Kara Miller. ”Each year our finale event is meant to showcase the entrepreneurs in the WIN Lab program, while celebrating the traction, success, and impact each of the businesses have made since the beginning of the accelerator last fall."

The three finalists pitching for a share of the $8,500 include:

Gentreo / Co-Founders: Renee Fry and Mary Kate D’Souza Gentreo is the web-enabled software solution that makes the financial and legal aspects of eldercare planning easy, affordable, and accessible for the over 45M American seniors and their 60M children who need eldercare planning tools today.

Artemis Design Company / CEO & Founder: Milicent Armstrong Artemis Design Company is best known for charming, one-of-a-kind, Kilim Shoes handmade from Turkish Kilim carpets.
