Newswise — Babson College, the #1 college and global leader for entrepreneurship, will offer a new program, Women Leaders Activating Change: Creating Value for You and Your Organization, at Babson Miami February 25-28, 2019 with an optional online session.

The program is designed for mid to senior level women professionals who are at, approaching or ready for a transition in their career (i.e. recently promoted or working to be promoted, newly managing a team).

The program will help participants transform to a more effective and impactful leader by developing a personalized leadership action plan that emphasizes their strengths in order to achieve their professional and personal goals of making a positive impact for their team, company and society.

Susan Duffy

Susan Duffy is the Executive Director of the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) at Babson College. The CWEL is a collaborative learning laboratory dedicated to investigating, educating and celebrating women entrepreneurial leaders of all kinds. Susan is recognized within her sphere of influence as a source of thought and initiative in developing innovative education programs and delivering system-wide value in diverse organizations.

Wendy Murphy

Wendy Marcinkus Murphy, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Management at Babson College. She primarily teaches organizational behavior for undergraduates and managing talent in the graduate programs, as well as customized executive education. Currently, she is Co-Director of the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) program, a yearlong interdisciplinary course in which students create, develop, launch, and manage a business. She has served as the Faculty Advisor for the Mentoring Programs through the Center for Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL). Prior to joining the faculty at Babson College, she taught at Boston College and Northern Illinois University. She earned her A.B., M.S., and Ph.D. from Boston College.
