Sarah Green, professor of chemistry at Michigan Technological University is available to comment on the new report from the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), which states that humans are changing the Earth's ecosystems so dramatically that as many as one million plant and animal species are now at risk of extinction, and that current global response insufficient to stop this decline in resources.

Green earlier this year served as co-chair of the scientific advisory panel for the United Nation's Sixth Global Environmental Outlook (GEO-6) report, released in March 2019.

Green has also served as a Jefferson Science Fellow for the U.S. Department of State.
