ChemWell®2 Awareness Technology’s Two Plate Analyzer

The new analyzer represents an evolution of the ChemWell® line of fully automated instruments applying the company’s innovative single-plate technology to a two-plate system. Unlike similar devices capable of processing both ELISA and CLIA assays in 96-well micro plates, ChemWell®2 offers increased flexibility to laboratory professionals by allowing random placement of ELISA and CLIA microstrips even within the same plate. To improve throughput, ChemWell® 2 uses a dual probe system, dedicated probes for pipetting and dispensing reagents and patient samples. Each probe has its own wash/rinse system, providing thorough cleansing to prevent carry over and cross-contamination. In addition, the operator may select use of optional on-board disposable tips for the sampling probe ChemWell® 2 employs a dedicated internal bar code scanner that works in conjunction with a 96-sample capacity “smart rack” to sense and track patient identification. With open system programing and space for up to 33 reagents, ChemWell 2 can run various testing protocols, along with routine and customized test panels to optimize any laboratory’s needs.
