On Tuesday, November 13, The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Missouri Cures Education Foundation and Benson Hill Biosystems hosted a symposium on the impact of gene editing in Missouri. The event featured renowned panelists from multiple St. Louis businesses and organizations, including the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, Washington University, University of Missouri, Millipore Sigma, Bayer Crop Science, Benson Hill Biosystems, National Corn Growers and Alexandria Venture Investments. Panelists discussed how gene editing technology is accelerating cures, advancing human health, creating a more sustainable healthy food system and creating 21st century jobs.
