10:12 am A study finds that a new technology known as virtual
colonoscopy has proven effective in detecting lesions
of the colon.

10:48 am Women aged 40-49 who got mammograms at least every
13 months were more likley to have cancer detected at
an early stage than women who waited longer than that,
this study shows.

1:30 pm Using a new system, Picture Archival and Communication
System (PACS), staff members at Baltimore VA Medical
Center reported increased efficiency, availability of
images and better use of physician time, a study shows.

2:18 pm MRI, in combination with clinical and family history,
might aid in the correct diagnosis of the rare
neurologic disorder known as Juvenile Huntington's
Disease, a study finds.

1:30 pm A panel discussion looks at the controversial topic
of breast biopsy. Among the issues to be covered are
whether only radiologists should perform biopsies and
whether radiologists should give pre and post-biopsy
care to the patient, including blood work and antibiotics.

1:54 pm A new use for a common heart test might help
physicians distinguish quickly between patients who
are in danger of having a heart attack and those
who are not.

3:06 pm Ultrasound-guided Cryoablation (freezing) has better
results treating prostate cancer than surgery or
reduction, a study finds.
