Streck’s Scientific Manager for Immunology and Biomarkers R&D Division Focuses on New Product Development Surrounding Liquid Biopsy

Nicholas M. George, Ph.D., is the Scientific Manager of New Product Development for the Immunology and Bio-Markers group within Streck’s Research and Development Division. Nick joined Streck Inc. in 2015 after a decade long stint in academia.  His graduate studies focused on the molecular mechanisms of programmed cell death / apoptosis and his post-doctoral studies on pancreas developmental biology and diabetes, both completed at the University Nebraska Medical Center.  Nick’s current research and development interests include liquid biopsy and the multitude of pre-analytical variables associated with sample collection, processing, and analysis.
