Yesterday’s massive electrical failure in Detroit has raised questions about aging power grids throughout the nation — questions Dr. Tylor Claggett has been asking for years.
A professor of finance in Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, Claggett has published op-eds and been quoted in publications including the Baltimore Sun about potential issues with maintaining electrical supply systems and the profit-reward business structure that often causes maintenance or upgrades to be deferred.
