WHAT:
All educational programming from TCT Connect will be available to registrants for free through October 18, 2021. TCT is the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) and the world’s premier educational meeting specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine. Every year, TCT features major medical research breakthroughs and gathers leading researchers and clinicians from around the globe to present and discuss the latest evidence-based research in the field.
“By extending free access to TCT Connect for one year, we hope to share the latest updates in research, training, and innovation presented at TCT with a larger, more diverse audience,” said Juan F. Granada, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of CRF. “We believe that delivering high quality educational content to a broader audience plays a critical part in improving care for people with heart disease all over the world.”
Registrants will be able to stream more than 110 hours of educational programming from three channels as well as hundreds of abstracts and challenging cases:
- The Main Arena Channel is home to the TCT Connect opening event, late-breaking clinical trials and science, live case transmissions from around the globe conducted by world-renowned master operators, best of abstracts, and a special 90-minute session highlighting the unforeseen ramifications of COVID-19 on patients and the cardiovascular medical community.
- The World Connect and E-Satellite Channel showcases region-specific sessions from Japan, China, South Korea, India/Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. This channel features a line-up of dynamic and thought-provoking educational programs to highlight new therapies, innovations, and challenges in the interventional cardiology space.
- The Innovation and E-Training Channel features focused sessions on innovation, the preeminent FDA Town Hall, and TCT Shark Tank Innovation Competition, featuring six groundbreaking inventions in cardiovascular intervention. The channel also delivers access to high-quality didactic, device training, and product demonstration sessions.
