Newswise — MONTCLAIR, New Jersey (October 18, 2021) – Mountainside Medical Center has announced that Daniel Mansour, M.D. will take on the role as medical director of thoracic surgery and surgical director of the lung cancer screening/lung nodule program. In this role, Dr. Mansour will operate the thoracic surgery program to ensure its organization and delivery of excellent, timely and evidence-based care.

Dr. Mansour earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at University of Maryland School of Medicine. Following his general surgery residency, he completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University and an advanced thoracic surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Mansour currently serves as an attending thoracic surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center.
