Introducing New 5-part hematology analyzer from Boule Diagnostics

May 28, 2019        Boule Diagnostics AB | Booth #3465

For many, many years, Swelab™ 3-part hematology system from Boule has provided reliable complete blood counts to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and companies all around the world. Although our 3-part system is sufficient for most laboratories, we see an increased interest in 5-part instruments. For specialty clinics, for example, handling patients with conditions such as parasite infections or certain forms of cancers, a 5-part system can provide valuable information.

To meet these needs, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new Swelab Lumi 5-part hematology analyzer, an entry-level system that provides access to a reliable and user-friendly, yet cost-effective complete blood cell counter:

  • User-friendly: ergonomic design, easy operations, intuitive user interface.
  • Reliable: quality system components, dependable operations, good correlation with reference instrument and reference method.
  • Cost-effective: affordable, compact, efficient.

Swelab Lumi, intended for the cost-minded, smaller clinical laboratory (up to 50 tests/day), provides many competitive advantages such as

  • Smaller sample volume
  • More parameters to support in diagnosis
  • Larger storage space,
  • Lower reagent consumption
  • Smaller footprint
  • Bidirectional communication

Swelab Lumi is built with high-quality components from well-known brands to ensure reliable operations. The analyzer is developed and produced in cooperation between Boule and a partner company, with Boule Medical AB, Sweden as the legal manufacturer.

Swelab Lumi 5-part system provides a great complement to our current product portfolio and strengthens our position in the field of hematology. With this introduction of the first 5-part system version under the Swelab trademark, we wish to support our customers with an offering of a robust and user-friendly 5-part hematology analyzer that also provides cost-benefits to the end-user through low reagent and instrument maintenance needs.

Please find enclosed, order schedule for calibrator and controls for 2019. For orders of instruments to be delivered before July 2019, please also consider order of calibrator and controls.
