Newswise — ROLLA, Mo. – Dr. Fathi Finaish, professor and associate chair of aerospace engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T), is a native of Libya and is available to talk to journalists about Libyan life and culture.
Finaish was born and reared in Libya and studied aeronautical engineering at Al Fateh University in Tripoli. He earned his bachelor of science from Al Fateh in 1978, then earned his master of science and Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado in 1984 and 1987. He joined the Missouri S&T aerospace engineering faculty in 1988.
