He served as the editor of the 2015 and 2018 editions of the AAP Report of the Committee on Infectious Diseases — known as the Red Book — and as the associate editor for the 2009 and 2012 editions, which details the Academy’s policies on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of pediatric infectious diseases.
