WHAT: The MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (MAAETC), based at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, will collaborate with UPMC and local HIV stakeholders to host an all-day educational forum to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of World AIDS Day and the 30th Anniversary of the MAAETC, funded by the U.S. Health Resources & Service Administration’s HIV/AIDS Bureau since 1988.

The 2018 conference will bring together experts in the field of HIV to enable physicians, nurses and other HIV and primary care team members to improve HIV prevention, treatment and policy. They will discuss changes, opportunities and challenges facing health professionals, institutions and systems in addressing HIV and related co-morbidities with a focus on evidence-based practice, community collaboration and innovation.
