Newswise — (New York, NY - October 17, 2018) - The Mount Sinai Health System in New York City is introducing a new advertising campaign centered on the theme: “Which hospital you choose can make all the difference in the world.” The campaign will include ads on the Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North, and New York City subway and buses throughout the boroughs. The media buy will encompass more than 4,000 locations.

This is the largest single awareness campaign in Mount Sinai’s history and sets the foundation for a continued awareness effort in the future.

In this phase, Mount Sinai is expanding its promotion of various specialty areas, an effort that will continue into the first quarter of next year. Later this fall, Mount Sinai will use television, radio, and additional media to extend the campaign’s reach. The selected specialty areas spotlight the unique accomplishments and breakthroughs that have made Mount Sinai an exceptional health care provider.

“Mount Sinai is one of the largest integrated health care systems in the nation, and our network continues to grow, providing patients and families access to exceptional care,” said Kenneth L. Davis, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mount Sinai Health System. “Our goal is to educate the public about the groundbreaking clinical care and procedures at Mount Sinai that can make a difference in your health care.”

“Through a commitment to innovation and discovery, we have remained on the front lines of medical research and clinical care, generating a greater understanding of health and disease,” said Dennis S. Charney, MD, the Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Dean of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and President for Academic Affairs at the Mount Sinai Health System. “From novel neurosurgery techniques to new cancer-fighting approaches, we are helping patients achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.”
