From the authors: “This study sought to determine the proteomes of patient-matched visceral, abdominal subcutaneous and glutealfemoral adipocytes. Using recent advances in proteomics technology, we identified 4,220 proteins in adipocytes, which enhanced the known proteome coverage of human adipocytes by ~1.5 fold.”
