Newswise — CALSPEAKS, a project of Sacramento State’s Institute for Social Research (ISR), released a poll today focused on Californians likely to vote in the Nov. 8 general election. The statewide poll was conducted in partnership with California Counts, a collaboration of four National Public Radio (NPR) stations – Sacramento’s Capital Public Radio, Los Angeles’ KPCC, San Francisco’s KQED and San Diego’s KPBS – to provide election polling for the 2016 general election. Topics include the U.S. Senate race and several questions about satisfaction living in California, state pride and the attainability of the California dream. It also surveyed attitudes about Proposition 64, a measure to legalize recreational pot; the economy; and immigration, among other issues.
