Newswise — CHICAGO (April 9, 2019): The 2019 Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons (ACS)—one of the largest educational meetings of surgeons in the world—will convene October 27-31 in San Francisco, Calif. The Moscone Center will house the scientific sessions, courses, and all scientific and technical exhibits, and the Hilton San Francisco Union Square will serve as headquarters hotel for the meeting.

This year’s conference theme is “For Our Patients.” The program features more than 100 panel sessions, postgraduate didactic and skills-oriented courses, meet the expert sessions, named lectures, scientific forum sessions highlighting hundreds of research-in-progress reports, e-poster presentations, video-based education sessions, and town hall meetings. Nearly 200 companies will also be on site displaying products and services that improve the quality of surgical care or enhance surgical management practices.

Program highlights include panel sessions on cutting edge topics:
