Newswise — LOUISVILLE, Kentucky, May 10, 2019 -- Press conferences for the 177th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America will be held Tuesday, May 14 in the Laffoon Room at the Galt House. The morning and afternoon press conferences will focus on research into human sounds and language learning, protecting wildlife from man-made obstacles and potentially helping authorities respond faster in an active shooting situation, as well as other discoveries in acoustics.
