Jennie Kronenfeld is a Professor of Sociology in the School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University. Her longstanding research interests include: access to health care services, health care policy issues, child health, aging and health, and preventive health concerns. Some of Kronenfeld’s current research involves the Children’s Health Insurance Program, Medicaid and access to health care, HIV/AIDs with mobile populations and with minority populations, and minorities and health care services. Among the books Kronenfeld has authored or edited are: Inequalities and Disparities in Health Care and Health: Concerns of Patients, Providers and Insurers (2008), Expansion of Publicly Funded Health Insurance in the United States: The Children’s Health Insurance Program and Its Implications (2006), and Health Care Reform in America (2004).
