Newswise — The nonprofit Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), which is dedicated to the advancement of research, scholarship, and creative activity by undergraduates in collaboration with faculty, has launched a search for a new executive officer. The selected candidate will succeed retiring executive officer Elizabeth L. Ambos.

“We look forward to receiving applications from candidates prepared to continue the expansion of the organization that has been achieved with Dr. Ambos’s leadership over the past few years,” said CUR President-Elect Janice DeCosmo (University of Washington) and CUR Immediate Past President Anne Boettcher (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University), co-chairs of the search committee.

CUR has a national office located in Washington, DC, and a staff of eight full-time employees.
