U-TOP™ MSI Plus Detection Kit is a real time PCR-based product, which detects microsatellite instability (MSI) in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA). This technology has been proven to be able to amplify unstable microsatellite repeat sequence in ctDNA more efficiently and detect them by 0.05%. The blood-based test with “U-TOPTM MSI Plus” is non-invasive, rapid, and precise. It can be especially used to screen patients who have difficulty in biopsy or who have metastatic cancer and want to monitor the cancer development
The test results are reported after analyzing 5 MSI markers (Quasi mononucleotide markers), and MSI status gets to be classified into MSI-H, MSI-L, or MSS (MSI stable). The running time is 3.5 hours excluding DNA prep, and results are automatically reported with MeltingArray™ Analyzer.
