Newswise — Bethesda, Md. – The Uniformed Services University's Consortium for Health and Military Performance (CHAMP) has updated one of its websites, hprc-online.org, as well as re-named it Human Performance Resources by CHAMP, still using the familiar acronym HPRC. Formerly known as the Human Performance Resource Center, HPRC provides resources and evidence-based information for Military Service Members on how to perform at their best. This newest version of the HPRC website offers a mobile-friendly format as well as easy access to specific Service-branch content for the latest Total Force Fitness information for each Service.

HPRC, a program under CHAMP, which is a center at the Uniformed Services University, will continue to host special DoD efforts: Go for Green®, a performance-nutrition food-labeling program, has been reorganized to better help users set up a G4G program. ComRaD, a combat-rations database, has the most current nutrition facts on Meal, Ready to Eat, First Strike Ration, and more. The Rx3: Rehab, Refit, Return to Duty program continues to provide materials to help Military Service Members prevent and recover from common musculoskeletal injuries.

HPRC’s “Ask the Expert” portal will continue to provide access to evidence-based responses to human performance and total fitness questions.

According to Dr. Patricia Deuster, CHAMP Executive Director, “A visit to the newly updated HPRC will show you the complete transformation and demonstrate why we are and should be the ‘go to’ for information on Human Performance Optimization and Total Force Fitness.”
