Newswise — U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi and Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal will be among speakers during University of Wyoming commencement ceremonies Friday and Saturday, May 7-8.

Ceremonies for the individual colleges are scheduled Saturday, May 8; College of Law ceremonies will be held Saturday, May 15; and UW/Casper College Center ceremonies are scheduled for Thursday, May 13.

UW is scheduled to accord degrees upon more than 1,560 students, including 1,173 undergraduates, 287 graduate students, 64 College of Law graduates and 44 School of Pharmacy graduates. The largest degree categories are bachelor of arts, 498; bachelor of science, 419; master of science, 108; and master of arts, 89.

The schedule of events for individual college commencement ceremonies, along with key speakers, are:

Friday, May, 7:

2 p.m. -- African American and Disapora Studies, Wyoming Union Family Room.

3:30 p.m. -- Multicultural graduation ceremony, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom.

5:30 p.m. -- American Indian Studies ceremony, Wyoming Union Family Room.

8:30 a.m. -- College of Health Sciences, Arena-Auditorium, U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi.

9 a.m. -- College of Business, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium, graduating students Danielle Ireland, Gillette, accounting; Jonathan McBride, Cheyenne, business administration; and Amanda Pohja, Sterling, Colo., M.B.A.
