Newswise — Jennifer Su Gillick, EMBA ’83, an alumna of the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, and her husband William G. Gillick, have pledged $100,000 to the Merage School. In recognition of their gift, one of the breakout rooms, located on the fourth floor of the new Merage School building, will be designated “in honor of the Su and Gillick Families.”

“Jennifer has been a loyal contributor to the Merage School and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Circle. A strong supporter of our school, Jennifer attended the grand opening celebration for the new building in May 2015 and has a seat named in her honor in our new auditorium,” said Anders Yang, assistant dean for Advancement. “We are very grateful for the continued generosity of Jennifer and her husband.”

Jennifer Su Gillick currently serves as senior business systems manager at Santa Clara-based Ambarella, Inc. She joined the company in 2006 and has held various positions including director of Financial Systems. Gillick is recognized as the first Corporate Controller for Ambarella. Previously, Gillick held management positions with companies including Nassda Corporation and Synopsys, Inc. “My career success is due in part to the education I received through The Paul Merage School of Business. I am grateful to have had the school name on my resume and I am proud to be able to return the favor with this contribution,” said Gillick. “It is an honor to be a part of the brilliant future of The Paul Merage School of Business."

Since graduating the first class in 1968, The Paul Merage School of Business has grown significantly, due primarily to the generous donations from the business community. To make a pledge, please visit: ua-web.uadv.uci.edu/MerageSchoolFund.
