Dr. Pittman is an assistant professor in the department of otolaryngology of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She is board certified in otolaryngology. Dr. Pittman primarily performs head and neck reconstruction surgery including microvascular free tissue transfer, Mohs reconstruction, facial reanimation, trauma surgery and cosmetic surgery. She treats patients with head and neck cancer, skin cancer, facial paralysis, facial palsy, facial trauma or fractures and cosmetic and functional concerns. Dr. Pittman earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in otolaryngology, head & neck surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in facial plastics and microvascular head & neck reconstruction at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. She is also a medical illustrator.
Dr. Pittman is active in professional organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology, North American Skull Base Society, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Triologic Society and the American College of Surgeons. She has served as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters youth organization and performed several medical missions in San Lucas, Guatemala, Casa Shalom Orphanage.
