“An important, and up to now ignored, factor in the campaign will be the role of surrogates. Trump is pretty much on his own – all the more so since prominent Republicans will spend time backing away from many of his statements (as they have with his recent invitation to Russia to spy on the United States).

“On the other hand, Hillary Clinton will have lots of people, most especially President Obama, but also Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Joseph Biden and many others campaigning for her. Thus the Clinton campaign can “fan out” across contested states and energize voters. Along with her superior ground game, this advantage may prove to be important in getting out the vote.”

Cornell University has television, ISDN and dedicated Skype/Google+ Hangout studios available for media interviews.
