Streck’s Director of New Product Development Focuses on Innovation in Molecular Analysis

Newswise — Chris Connelly, Ph.D., is the Director of New Product Development for the Molecular Technology group within Streck's Research and Development Division. His current research focus is to develop innovative technologies to improve molecular diagnostic testing for clinical and research laboratories. His current work has resulted in development of rapid PCR-based approaches to detect the genetic mechanisms that confer antibiotic resistance to Gram-negative bacteria.
