Newswise — A powerful resource for individuals seeking actionable insights into the leading edge of business practice is now available from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business: the newly enhanced thought leadership platform Darden Ideas to Action.
Since 2014, Darden Ideas to Action has provided research-driven insights and the latest thinking on critical business topics to readers who seek to understand and create an active and responsible role for business in society. Through an expanded website (ideas.darden.virginia.edu) featuring a new look and thought leadership, the content hub now features a rich array of multimedia, including podcasts, videos and interactive data visualizations.
In addition, when readers access content on Darden Ideas to Action, they will be connected to opportunities to explore a subject more deeply through Darden cases, white papers, online and executive education courses, original research and events.
In partnership with Darden’s research Centers of Excellence, faculty and experts, the site’s thought leadership will explore critical business issues and challenges through both a broad, business function-based lens and an interdisciplinary view. The site provides several ways to explore the research, analysis and commentary, including by:
- Topics, which encompass 10 business functions and areas, such as Business, Ethics & Society, Strategy and Data & Analytics.
- Collections, which curate articles in specific fields of study, such as Giving Voice to Values or Effectuation: The Entrepreneurial Method, and examine content that crosses disciplines, such as Social Impact or Global Business & Culture.
- Experts, who deliver actionable insights in their specific areas of expertise and research.
The new Darden Ideas to Action was developed with support from Darden’s Batten Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Institute for Business in Society and Richard A. Mayo Center for Asset Management as well as Darden Executive Education.
