Professor Joe Trainor can serve as a source for follow-up stories on tornadoes ravaging the Midwest and the aftermath.
Trainor, a faculty member in the University of Delaware's Biden School of Public Policy, has been studying human behavioral response and perception of tornadoes for over a decade and can answer any questions on tornado warning systems, how people process them and more.
He has worked on this topic with the National Weather Service Weather Ready Nation Meetings and was part of the National Academy of Science report on human behavior and weather.
