Ohio State's Mazeika Sullivan, one of the authors on a new opinion piece in PNAS: https://www.pnas.org/content/116/24/11558 is available for interviews.

Sullivan, who directs Ohio State's Schiermeier Olentangy River Wetland Research Park, and his colleagues are concerned about a proposed rule by the U.S. EPA and Army Corps of Engineers that would remove Clean Water Act protections from more than half of wetlands and one-fifth of streams in the United States. They say this move sharply contrasts with reports indicating that US waters remain threatened by storms, droughts, contaminants, algal blooms and other stressors. "In short, the proposed rule does not reflect the best-available science and, if enacted, will damage our nation’s water resources."
