Milan, 5 August, 2019 - The International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) is happy to announce its next 24th International Congress of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC WORLDLAB SEOUL 2020) that will be held at Coex, Seoul, Korea from May 24 to 28, 2020.
This triennial Congress is the most significant international scientific congress in its field: it hosts the IFCC Council and serves as the focal point for the activities of IFCC and its working relationships with its Full Member Societies. It is normal practice for the WorldLab to be hosted by one or more of the Full Members.
Most recent WorldLab Congresses were held in Durban, South Africa in 2017, Istanbul, Turkey (2014), Berlin, Germany (2011), Fortaleza, Brazil (2008), Orlando, USA (2005), Kyoto, Japan (2002), Florence, Italy (1999).
The IFCC WORLDLAB SEOUL 2020 Organizing Committee is gearing up for an exciting and informative symposium programme including plenary lectures, educational workshops, satellite meetings and poster sessions. The Congress will cover all the scientific and technological aspects of Laboratory Medicine.
Under the theme, “Value-based Laboratory Medicine”, IFCC WORLDLAB SEOUL 2020 will offer a highly dynamic and stimulating scientific programme and will be a great occasion to gather together to discuss emerging issues and cutting-edge techniques coming from the field of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
The chance to combine leading world experts with the unique art treasures of Seoul represents a valuable opportunity to allow people coming from all over the world to gather and exchange ideas.
