Ross Baker, distinguished professor of political science at Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an expert on American politics, is available for interviews before, during and after next week’s Iowa caucuses.

Baker is a former research associate at the Brookings Institution. He has served as a consultant and resident scholar for Democrats in the House and Senate.

“Former Vice President Biden feels boxed in on New Hampshire by Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren so he is putting his chips on three states where he is especially strong: Iowa, Nevada, and South Carolina. New Hampshire’s historically pivotal role may be less decisive in 2020 than in any previous presidential year,” Baker said.

Baker can be reached at [email protected].
