Newswise — The National Conference for Nurse Practitioners (NCNP) Virtual Summit 2020 will be held online June 19 and 20, featuring educational sessions relevant to advanced clinical practice and offering nurse practitioners the necessary tools to improve the overall quality of patient care.

The Virtual Summit will be kicked off by keynote speakers:

They will discuss COVID-19 and the challenges in primary and acute care, as well as the latest recommendations for diagnosis and treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Sessions during the two-day conference will cover topics including prescribing for anxiety and depression, hypertension management, new drug updates, sepsis treatment, and an in-depth look at medical cannabis, among other important topics.

NCNP Virtual Summit attendees can earn continuing education credits of up to 12.5 contact hours and 8.5 advanced pharmacology (Rx) hours. The conference will be available on demand for 90 days beginning two weeks after the conclusion of the live event.
