Newswise — The Center for Global Business at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business will host Mauro Guillen for a discussion of his book "2030: How Today's Biggest Trends Will Collide and Reshape the Future of Everything.”

This free, virtual event is from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, and is part of the Center for Global Business Annual Forum series. Register via https://go.umd.edu/St3. 

Maryland Smith Research Professor and CGB Academic Director Kislaya Prasad will lead the discussion with Guillen, a professor of international management for the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and next director of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Guillen is noted for combining his training as a sociologist at Yale and as a business economist in his native Spain to methodically identify and quantify the most promising opportunities at the intersection of demographic, economic, and technological developments.
