Newswise — Amanda Barusch spent five years conducting original research for her most recent book, Love Stories of Later Life: A Narrative Approach to Understanding Romance. Based on the experiences of hundreds of adults, the book explores late life's romantic possibilities and the ways romance can change (and improve) with age. Dr. Barusch has incorporated this often-neglected subject into more than 25 years of teaching and research in the field of aging. She is a professor and associate dean for research at the University of Utah College of Social Work.
