Newswise — What: Leading environmental health experts from around the globe will present current research on environmental health issues and debate policy solutions at a five-day conference entitled Exposure and Health in a Global Environment. The conference " organized by co-chairs Ed Avol of the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and Dr. Dean Baker of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health and School of Medicine at the UC Irvine " is a joint meeting of the International Society of Environmental Epidemiology and the International Society of Exposure Assessment. The conference will feature more than 40 symposia and 61 sessions involving 305 speakers on topics including climate change, bioaccumulation of chemicals and long-term health effects of air pollution, pesticides, noise, industrial operations and agricultural.
