Dr. Shelley Johns, a researcher at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and a board-certified clinical health psychologist, can provide guidance on managing stress, especially among cancer patients, during COVID-19. Her research focuses on testing mind-body interventions to reduce cancer-related fatigue and fear of cancer recurrence. 

Dr. Johns teaches medical students and residents at Indiana University School of Medicine about the importance of psychological care of their patients and leads workshops on campus and in the community on stress management. She is an assistant professor of medicine at IU School of Medicine and a research scientist at Regenstrief Institute.
