The World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) is pleased to announce it is launching a Hepatitis C (HCV) global media education initiative. The initiative’s steering committee will convene for the first time on April 24 at the 50th European Association for the Study of the liver (EASL) conference in Vienna, Austria.
The World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ), in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), is organizing a series of two-day Training of Trainers workshops.
The WFSJ will be holding infectious diseases and Ebola and pandemic influenza training workshops, as well as a viral hepatitis education package for health journalists in 2015.

The 3rd Kavli Symposium on Science Journalism (Washington, DC – February 15-17, 2016) had the ambitious goal of addressing ways to facilitate coverage of science through international collaboration.
Starting on Monday 17 October the WFSJ will each week, for a period of six weeks, hand over its Twitter account (now numbering 2800+ followers) to a Member Association in Africa, North America, South America, Oceania and Asia.
