Stan Stojkovic, a professor of criminal justice and criminology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, can talk about inmate procedures and the processing of inmates who are placed on suicide watch in the wake of the death of Jeffrey Epstein. The politically connected multimillionaire died of apparent suicide on Saturday while in federal custody while awaiting trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges brought by federal prosecutors.
The dean of the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at UWM, Stojkovic has provided commentary and served as an expert witness on related issues for over three decades. He is the author of books including Managing Special Populations in Jails and Prisons and scholarly work including Prison Oversight and Prison Leadership.
