The UCLA Center for Health Policy Research invites you to the E. Richard Brown Symposium, which will be held March 1st, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Center. Dr. Brown, founder of the Center, spent his life advocating for a system that would ensure health services for every Californian. Honoring that spirit, the symposium topic is universal health care in California. The events will engage experts, lawmakers and academics in a review of possible system designs, policy proposals and important areas of research to inform a robust discussion on the future of health coverage that benefits everyone in the state.
