Three LLNL biomedical scientists – left to right, Matt Coleman, Angela Evans and Aimy Sebastian – are part of a team that has found new biomarkers that can be used for diagnostic purposes and potentially as predictive tools of the risks associated with deep space flight. They studied RNA expressions from exosomes obtained in whole blood from space shuttle astronauts.
