CLASS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND- New technology being tested in college classrooms makes it possible for college students to ask their professor a question during class without saying a word and allows professors to instantly evaluate their lecture in class. PocketClassroom, the software designed by Wake Forest, makes the classroom environment more interactive and takes advantage of the latest and growing trend in personal computers-the hand-held. Dozens of schools across the country are trying out similar projects on hand-helds and several have downloaded the Wake Forest software.http://www.wfu.edu/wfunews/2002/071702.html
